Day One - 5 Day FB LIVE Challenge

Welcome to the 5 Day Facebook LIVE Challenge! 

Lets do a little intro first so you have a better idea of what this is all about.

I periodically will hold either a 5 Day FB LIVE Challenge or a 5 Day Marketing Challenge in my free Facebook group – Thriving Success & Duplication

You do need to be a part of this FB group to participate in these challenges. Please feel free to join us!

Even if it is during a time slot I’m not actively doing either challenge you can still go to each day’s mini-training and do the challenge on your own.

As you are joining in make sure that if you have any questions make sure that you put them in the comments.

I want to make sure that you are taking ACTION on this challenge and getting things going. 

So, we’re going to go through a couple of rules.

I already have some LIVEs in the Facebook group Thriving Success & Duplication. Until I update them they will be used for this challenge.

If you haven’t joined Thriving Success & Duplication yet, please feel free to do so. 

The whole idea here is that I want to make things as automated as possible so a set Business System is in place. So you will see how duplicatable this all is.

This process is stacked on layers and its all being set in place for YOU.

Pay attention to that. Okay?

So for the 5 days of this challenge you’re getting a Mini-training and you’re going to get an action step with each day.

This is so you actually take action on your business.

So be looking out for those day challenges. Alright?

I want you guys to be doing your LIVE actually on your timeline. Not in this group.

The only reason WHY is it that I actually want your audience to see your LIVES and each one of these LIVES are going to really help your business. You might get some business, some business Builders and some customers!

Okay

You’re going to want to do your LIVES on your timeline and then share them in in THIS Day’s Specific post within the group.

I like to go back to all the videos and see what you guys are doing and also it’s much easier for people to support you. Okay?

It’s also much easier to know where all the LIVES are okay? If they are on a specific post. Okay?

The other thing is I have a bonus for those of you who Participate in all 5 days

I’m not going to reveal that to you though

Anyone who participates in all 5 days and actually shows me, which is by posting in the daily LIVE posts here.

You’re going to get an extra bonus and it’s going to really rock your business.

Third make sure that you are supporting each other.

I am all about supporting people here.

If you are helping people get where they want to be you’re going to get where you want to be.

“You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help other people get what they want.” – Zig Ziglar 

Make sure that if you are doing this that you are also supporting other people.

Check in and look at their LIVES and upping their views a little bit, upping their comments.

And that helps them out and that’s going to help you out because they’re going to reciprocate the same thing okay.

Generosity is going to come back to you.

I’ve personally experienced it

If your sting with things you’re going to attract stinginess and that type of thing.

so that’s another rule that I have for you guys especially for your business. Alright?.

Before I get into formatting and what your topic is for today I’m going to go through a couple things that are going to help you with your LIVES.

So when you’re going LIVE you want to pay attention to the lighting. Okay?

First thing is that you want to make sure that a light source is good. Whether it’s a light source or the sun.

Sunlight is probably the best way to do it

You need to make sure it’s facing you.

The problem is if the lighting is behind you people won’t be able to see your face.

This business is all about people being able to know, like and trust you.

If you don’t have Light on your face and they can’t see your facial expressions they can’t see you – you’re going to have a hard time. 

2nd Now From an energy standpoint is the energy it takes can kind of be draining. You know?

Especially if you’re brand new and especially if you’re nervous about it.

So what you kind of have to do is Up your energy a bit.

It’s going to feel a bit weird and strange at first, but I’m telling you it’s going to make a huge difference.

Cause if you’re just going like this, “h e l l o im g o i ng to be … sharing Some … information …. With you and um….” All slow and mundain like you will lose people.

Problem is with that just from a personality standpoint if you want your personality to radiate you kind of have to up it.

Probably about 5 times or so your normal level.

Because from a Translation standpoint you have to get your energy into the phone, into the person and so it’s kind of that thing where you kind of have to up the energy level

You’ve probably heard that a camera sometimes add 15 pounds

Well videos suck your energy so you got to up your energy.

Up your personality a couple of notches because that will radiate through you.

So that’s really huge from an energy standpoint.

Alright…

The last thing I have is a Tip for Equipment.

There are four different stages of how you do equipment

First – is if you’re just holding the phone. Just like doing a selfie.

Second – if you are going to up it a little bit. From a stabilization standpoint is getting a selfie stick.

I do recommend this because it helps with the wobble. And it looks a little bit more professional.

So really that’s the  only equipment that you need….A selfie stick and your phone.

And If you are someplace where there is a lot of noise what you want make sure that you use your headphones or earbuds.

People will hear you much better.

The other three levels if you want to get into that

and make sure that you reach out to me.

Third is if you want to go live from your laptop

There are some things that you could do where you can actually share your desktop. You can put graphics and such on them.

The fourth level is actually having a dedicated studio.

Okay, so that’s your goal is eventually to be so good at this and creating such an income with this…

And if you’re reading my Science of Getting Rich in here you know you have to have that visualization and mindset. Right?

The last thing we’re talking about today is the Formatting of your FB LIVES.

If you are randomly doing your LIVE sometimes you’re not going to be able to translate what you want to talk about to your audience.

I usually go LIVE on my phone and have bullet points up on my computer.

Now, in the Files Section of the Thriving Success & Duplication group I have another gift for you! It’s the FB LIVE video Cheat Sheet.

This is a Formatting cheat sheet for doing LIVES. Be sure to download that for your use.

You can print it out and make some bullet points on it so you don’t get lost in what you talk about.

And by the end of the week I’ll be giving you other ideas to turn it up a notch to increase your business.

But this is the basic format that you’ll want to use. So be sure to download that.

The Basic Format

First – you need to have a Great Headline.

This will give your audience curiosity so if you don’t have a really good headline problem is people aren’t going to pay attention.

Facebook is all about Interruption marketing. right

if you think about it people are scrolling right through things and fast.

And you have to somehow disrupt them and actually have them pay attention to what you’re putting out there.

So you have to have a great headlight. If you if you need ideas on headlines you have to start paying attention. 

Especially as a marketer you have to start paying attention to what is catching your attention on Facebook and if it’s catching your attention more than likely your target audience will be caught by the same headline as well.

Especially if it’s in your particular niche.

So if you’re in health & wellness go to a health and wellness leader and see what type of posts they’re posting.

Either duplicate that or adjust it so it helps with your particular Niche.

Something I try to take a look at – especially when I’m going to the grocery store – just take a look at the headlines all around you.

You have to catch peoples attention from the get go.

You can’t wait for people to get on! You can’t be like, “well, I’m going to wait until people start joining us here.” You’re going to lose people!

People have the attention span of a goldfish which is about 6 to 8 SECONDS!

So, you have to Grab their Attention VERY quickly.

It’s great when you have people LIVE, but FB LIVE videos are actually more geared to the replay viewers.

You need to have your Videos more structured around the replay.

So you have to make sure that you cater to that and in the First 6 seconds you have to capture their attention.

I’ll get more into different ways like five or six different ways where you can capture attention but the easiest way to do is to restate your headline.

so let’s say I have a headline that’s about how to do Facebook LIVES

So, the next thing is your intro. Make sure that you keep it short and sweet.

Okay something like who you are, where you’re from and why you’re there.

People that are watching your live video won’t all know you – especially if you’re growing audience. Make sure you share who you are and what you do.

And example: “Hey I’m Bobbi Raffin with BobbiRaffin.com coming to from Oregon. I help folks start and grow their business online and part-time while creating residual income without chasing your friends and family.”

So that’s super important to get an intro in there.

Now a little tip about when you were talking about yourself especially on your timeline.

Don’t talk a lot about your company or the products that you sell. You want to create curiosity NOT just take the cat out of the bag so to speak…

I’m going to teach you how you can promote your business and or your product without actually selling them and then people are going to reach out to you.

The strategy around that is if you put it all out there people are going to Google it people are going to see reviews and you’ll lose them….Before you even have an opportunity to talk to them.

People will just think “Ohh that person just wants to sell to me!” And you’ll lose them.

Also I do some sort of a call to comment which is a CTC. Such as, “hey drop your favorite emoji or hey I want you guys to drop a one if you are catching this LIVE. If you are watching the replay drop a two. I make sure that I go back and I say hi to people.”

Reason why is that the more engagement that you get on your Facebook live the more that FB will actually share that out with people.

The next part of your LIVE is actually to do the subject or to train. 

Next you do another call to comment. Something as simple as, “Hey, was this helpful for you? Great. If it was drop a YES below. Also, if there’s a team member that you know would help with this be sure to let them know or ask beforehand and tag them in it.”

That is increasing your engagement.

The last part of it is that you want to have some kind of Call To Action.

Without a call to action you’re LIVE will probably be in vain.

Because everything that you do on social media should have some kind of call to action.

Not to sell something. Not to share link, but to say, “hey if you want more information” and here’s a simple call to comment and what we’re going to do today is, “Hey if you got some value here and you want to learn more make sure to turn on the notifications so you don’t miss any of my LIVES.”

We don’t want to do a salesy – “Hey buy my stuff or hey go to my link.”

People do not like to be sold to, but they will buy from or join people that they know, like, and trust.

LIVES are all about building engagement, building your audience, and people will get to know you and eventually they will buy from you or join your business.

Growing your audience is super super important

You’re always getting new friends and meeting new people.

People who are watching your LIVEs or if you are sharing your video to like groups those people aren’t going to know who you are.

And EXAMPLE: I’m in the health and wellness space and I help moms get back into their skinny jeans without starving themselves.

All those Moms will be like hey thats me I can relate to that.

Make sure that you’re very specific on introducing yourself.

Always introduce yourself.

Give your name, website, coming from and tag line.

Now that I’ve gone through some training you’re going to get the basic formatting here okay

And I want you guys to take Action.

Go onto your own timeline and you’re going to do this topic.

So the topic for today is a Motivational Video.

This is Huge in our industry because if you notice there’s a lot of people who are a negative Nelly.

And people are more likely to follow you if you inspire them, educate or give value them or you entertain them.

Today is All about inspiring people…
